Sometime later, earliest example I found was 2009, Sigarms was changed to Sig Sauer and this marked a new wave of cases.

And that same year, Sig Sauer made a completely molded interior case.



Starting 2011 (I've seen some late 2010 marked cases), Sig switched to a more compact and sleek design. The all plastic and hard foam interior black cases.

And now 2012, starting with the SP2022, guns came in cardboard boxes. And I've seen one example where a 226R came with a cardboard box.



And I forgot to add, but this may be a precursor to the new black cases. These cases showed up during 2009 as well, maybe late 2009? It was black and had a foam cut out interior.

I've seen these cardboard boxes used for LE over runs that were diverted for public sales. No clue if that's the case here, but I have seen it before.
