    Carbine conversion kits

Man this looks pretty good. What do you guys think of this kind of kit? I guess at this price you could just buy a Hi-Point, but I think it's pretty cool.

I never figured out the point of these other than as a glorified rail system for lights/lasers/glass... most are not designed to physically extend the barrel at all (for obvious reasons). But hey, they do look cool... and maybe that's the point.

Nevermind the fact they are illegal in Kalifornia...

They are illegal throughout the USA, unless the person possessing it has approval from the BATFE for a SBR.

Off the top of my head...

Its much easier to shoot a rifle (weapon with a stock) accurately than a pistol and much easier to teach people to do the same. Its also harder to shoot yourself or someone else in close quarters with a stocked weapon than a pistol.

From the economy side you have one service weapon to supply, service and track that can do two jobs.
            where are my pistol mags?

Then get a Kel-Tec Sub2000 that takes Glock mags in the caliber you like. Or the Thureon Defense Carbine that uses Glock mags, or the Just Right carbine that uses them too. The list is endless.
