    Looking For New 9mm

Well Im looking at getting a new 9mm, something for HD/Sport/Plinking. I'm a 1911 guy, but not in 9mm. 45 acp the way it should be. I'm not that into Glocks. I was looking at something like the Smith and Wesson M&P 9. What say you?

Like said above I need something for HD/Sport/plinking. I dont want a compact gun. I want to shoot it with my reloads.

Eventually I was to add a laser/flashlight combo, so I like the idea of having a rail.

Got another question that pertains to this. Can police officers transfer off list handguns to civilians or did that bill Asomething pass?

Love my SP2022. Comes with a rail, lasers and flashlights are available and cheap.

hows the weight? it looks kinda bulky. I was hoping for something smaller, so when if I can get my CCW later in life, I can carry this. Im only 19, so got a while.

Rent a few of them & shoot the crap of them while you're at it. Nothing beats hands-on experience. After that you'll narrow them down really quick.

Most likely not, most ranges want you to shoot their ammo through their guns.

                  +1 for the M&P9

Since you've said your not into Glocks, my next recommendation but on the pricier side is a Sig P226R. I've had mine for awhile and have nothing bad to say about it other than I wish I'd bought it earlier

if you like the M&P9, go for it.

A friend of mine has the M&P40, and i think its a great gun.

Whatever you do, MAKE SURE you try the CZ-75 SP-01 before buying anything else, its around $579-$619 depending on where you buy, it will resemble a 1911 to you due to its controls and shape and it will rock your world.

Look at the Glock, XD, XDM, M&P.

I shoot the XDm the best, so I bought one.

The Ruger SR9 is nice too.
