Whatever it is, it works pretty well. I use the light one.

        you mean, thin viscosity?

how about medium viscosity? will that cause malfunction to my guns?

I have been using the "light" slide guide on some of my semi-auto pistols works very well.

Run the light unless you plan on shooting a LOT between cleanings.

I've used it occasionally, and I like it.

Well, if Brian Eno sells it and guys on the benos forums use it, then it must be good. Those are all competition shooters that shoot 500 rounds a weekend!

I use the Hoppes gun oil that came in a cheapo Hoppes rifle cleaning kit I bought 10 years ago. I found some cheapo "lubricating oil with teflon" at an electronics store that I am using as well.

Most of my guns aren't that picky about what oil or grease they have on them as long as I clean them and put SOMETHING on there.

I use it on all my full metal frame guns.

Medium or Lite are both good.

I think Slide Glide is kinda wasted on polymers though.

I agree, I use it on the metal contact areas of my Glock

I use the light viscosity on all of my stuff. Around the barrel, rails and anywhere else that has metal on metal. I'll use the medium on the higher powered stuff and my bolt actions.

I use the light. Love it. Whatever it may be, a tub is cheap and lasts a long time. Apply with a make up brush.
On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Just stick with light. It is a better all around viscosity. And yes, it is very good.

I can run my 1911 ("known" for their "unreliability") for 1000+ rounds between cleanings using slide glide.
