ARES 1911 Build?

Anyone in the central valley doing the Ares 1911 GB/Build? I've never done anything like this and wanted a little insight on the difficulties and opinion of it?

Not central valley but I'm working on a 10mm top end for a Rudius 80% project.

Right now I'm slowly getting my barrel lugs fit for full, equalized engagement and figuring out what I need for my barrel link and where my frame rails need to be for proper link down and ramp cut.

Yeah I want to but I have no idea where to start or how to go about it.

If you start with all new parts, there is lots of fitting to do.

If you start with a complete top end and aren't looking for match accuracy, you can eliminate a lot of the fitting but you get what you get.

Get both of the Kuhnhausen manuals if you want to see how things should fit up.
