.357 sig conversion. should i get it?

Hello calguns. I have a glock 35 and am flirting with the thought of getting the .357 sig conversion. Accoring to Lone Wolf all I need is the barrel and the price seems good. Aside from mags is there anything else ill need? Thanks.

Not true. The mags are different. The follower and the mag tube cross-section are different shapes.

I like to shoot my 357 sig its a fun round. It is however pretty expensive. I just buy miwall reloads at the gun show, 75 bucks for 250 rounds. (If I remember right)

Yeah the ammo prices suck for the caliber but there's a gunshow coming to fresno in sept. Ill be checking the prices for reloads as well as looking in the marketplace for the reloads guy (what's his name?). After that ill decide to get the sig or just go with 9mm.

I had a Glock 35 and 23 with 357 sig barrel. No problems feeding with the 40 magazine.

Most .40 S&W pistols can be converted to .357 SIG by replacing the barrel, but sometimes the recoil spring must be changed as well. Pistols with especially strong recoil springs can accept either cartridge with a barrel change. Magazines will freely interchange.

Do I have to get the .357 mags if I change the barrel to a .357?*
No, the magazines are the same for the .357 and .40 cal., so they are interchangeable.

Not that familiar with Glock mags, but Sig mags are identical. They are even marked 357Sig/40s&w. And I guess Sig should know, they invented the round.

Same mags work just fine...read up on it. No spring change. 357Sig ammo can be found for similar price to .45 if you shop around. I like factory barrels, but that's me. My vote: Do it!

Negative, the mags are identical. Do you have any Glocks?

This is true...^^^^^^^depending on the year and follower upgrade. Lately they are the same.

However, .40 mags will run fine.

.357 Sig - for those times when you need to shoot through car doors.
