    My frame has slight wear to the texture. It looks normal, but feels smoother than a new XD. The other non stainless parts also have had a good portion of the black finish worn off. The stainless has light scratches from the holster. Overall, my gun still looks great and doesn't really appear to have a great deal of use. I do try to take care of it, but I don't treat it like a collectors item either.
