Glock 27 ??

well, I'm going to get a G27 what do folks think of them? this will be my first Glock, almost all my had guns are full sized and need something to use for summer carry. My RI 1911 3.5" is just to heavy.

My son has a G23 but it's just a tad to big. I wanted the shield but it looks to be sometime in Dec before they catch up.

I love my G27. I carried a G23 for almost a year, and just thought it was alittle big for my size ( 5'9", 150 lbs). I carry it IWB with a whitehat holster. I use the +1 extenders on my mags to get 10+1. I can't make it disappear like most in shorts and a t-shirt, by pants and a button up is pretty much my dress code now days. Plus it's a glock, so it will never fail you.

I CCW the 27 and it works well for me. I use a crossbreed IWB and it conceals easily. The 26 has a little less recoil, but 27 isn't horrible, nothing you cant get use to. I would recommend the pierce extensions, tha way you get a bit of a better grip in addition maybe a grip texture job or the talon grip tape. And a set of good sights... I never liked the stock Glock sights.

I just bought one and love it! I have a 30 also, but it's just to thick and heavy for ccw.

I run the same set up - the Pierce. I have a Hogue wrap around grip that works well. Big Dot XS sight work well on my G27.

I purchased a G27 to shoot sub compact in GSSF, and I was surprised at how much like the G23 it is (minus the grip length of course). When I'm in states that I can carry in, I prefer it over the 23 for concealability reasons. I use the Pearce finger extensions as well and carry a 23 mag in case the SHTF.

I've carried one as my back up( primary glock 21), for 7 years and love it. It's also my off duty gun. Shoots straight and has the knockdown power you might need.

I carry one without the magazine extension and love it. Go for it!

I carry one nearly every day, in a Old Faithful IWB. It shoots well with a steady diet of Win 180gr. The mag extensions are a must for me, I also put different sights on mine. I don't think you can really go wrong with it. I'm not a big fan of the grips the finger groves just don't work for me, one day it will go out to have them removed.

The Glock 27 is a fantastic compact weapon. Sometimes I run .357SIG barrel (extended) Lots of noise. haha



But most of the time I just run the stock .40 barrel with a Glock 23 Magazine with sleeve. Neat little package.

I carry a G27 and usually shoot it better than my G23. I'm always a little confused when people say the G23 is a too big so buy a G27 then add grip extensions to make it the grip the same size a the G23. The barrel length seldom affects concealability, it's the grip length. OK, at least for me.

I'm 6'2" and carry a Sig P220 R but the grip is to big, thus the thought to get a G27

i love my 27 over 5000 rounds through it and it keeps on going amazing how accurate it is also
115 rounds shot from this distance and only 3 misses with my g27 i love this little gun

Do it. The G27 is a great compromise between concealability, capacity and power. It is also accurate and highly reliable. I have large hands and prefer to run it with the OEM magazine and floorplate.
