    Magazine Rebuild Kit

I am thinking about ordering these for my Glock 17. It is still in jail but I get it out in a few days. Are they good mag rebuild kits? Will they work in my Glock? Or should I pay extra and stick with the actual Glock brand? Sorry but I am a newbie still but I am learning fast. LOL. I should say that I will only be assemblying these in Arizona not California.... Thanks guys.

The Glock brand ones work better, period.
Personally I wouldn't waste the money on a non-glock mag, but you may get lucky.

Just a note, since you are not in CA, you buy fully assembled magazines unless you have some magazines that you want to fix with the other magazine, but what's the point?

In CA, if you have a pre-ban magazine, it is precious and you want to fix it if it's malfunctioning and the only way is to buy the parts kits. If you're in AZ, then why would you even fix a broken magazine with parts from another magazine when you can just use the new magazine?

Plz rebuild as ten rounder or use rivets and glue to fix your mag.

I'm in California. But I have a vacation house in Arizona. So I want the rebuild kits. Then when I am in Arizona I can use them and then take them apart when I return to California.

So everyone agrees it is better to spend the extra money and get the Glock Brand?

I have several Sherer mags that are 33 rounders for the G-17. For some reason it seems taht they just suck now, too stiff, do not load, ftf, etc. Paid nearly $60 for them new now that sucks though. I need to replace those mags and since prices are down I was thinking of going with factory mags from glock since they are affordable now but what to do with my old non factory mags? Just take them apart and leave them in a box?

You may as well find a local store to support in AZ and buy some on your way to your vacation house. Then leave them at the vacation house. Just make sure the store isn't idiotically overpriced like so many are (seriously, why do they try to charge 50$ for a 20$ mag?)

My brother has some of the Asian military mags for his G19 (I think they're KCI mags). He hasnt had any issues with them.

Glock makes the best mags by far and they are cheap compared to many OEM mags. Not sure why or how there is even an aftermarket for them since everyone just buys glock OEM mags.

Be sure to pick up some 33rd mag kits for your vacation home too

I just ordered the Glock Brand 17 round mags from Exile. I believe they are a Calguns supporter. They didn't have any of the 33 round mags in Glock brand and didnt know when they would get them. So I ordered 2 of the 33 round in the PE Arms Brand. Thanks for the help.

Will the 33 round mags fit into both my Glock 17 and 19?
