Actually, I also emember a documentary on the Outdoor channel where they toured his facility and showed them being made. The craftsmanship was impressive.

I own a Thunder Ranch and a Custom Carry. I have shot the Thunder Ranch. It is tight, accurate, and very sweet. I am holding the Custom Carry to sell as new next year. These 1911's are definitely top shelf and capable of very small groups. Better than I can shoot on a normal day. Grats on your purchase and shoot the hell out of it when it is finally home.
