Compact 9mm recommendation please

Seriously, if you are looking for a compact for carry and convenience, look to the Kahr K9 or even smaller MK9, all others compacts are just cut version of the full size and still considered large, if you are looking for something to put in the jeans pocket, the J frame smiths in 38 spl is just as good.. same stopping power as a 9MM and very small

Obviously there are a bazillion opinions. A reasonable source is to check youtube vids for reviews and comparisons, but nothing beats finding a range that has rentals and trying out as many as you can, before you buy. I thought I saw a note that you wanted to stay in the $300 range. That will be very difficult to find something worth having in that range IMHO.

I carry a G26 gen 4 or a HK P30 9mm when I want to carry a 9. Great guns. Have 2500 rds through the HK without a bobble and 425 rounds through the 26 w/o error. Great guns. LEM HK's and Glocks rock!
