HKS 940 9mm speedloader is awesome!

Just wanted to let you know, this product is truly awesome. No more sore thumbs for me! Just slide your magazine in (I've got an SP2022 9mm), press the thumb lever down and in goes the ammo, very easy! Cheap and effective, I'm super happy with it.

If you like that thing, the Uplula will make you shoot in your suit.

Maglula, Uplula's Speed Loaders: Pistol Mag Loaders & Rifle Mag Loaders. Made w Durable reinforced polymer. Eliminates thumb pain & injury.

I dunno, I think the HKS looks easier to use. Just thumb down, bullet in, thumb up, repeat. The Maglula looks like it takes more effort. Not a lot more, mind, but hard to believe anything could be easier than the HKS.

Comes in handy when you load up over 70 1911 mags at a time.

Love the Uplula. Never used the HKS.

What I really like about the Uplula is that it pushes the entire stack down, leaving ample room to just "drop" the fresh round in; never interferes w/ the round going into the mag -- no friction b/t the mag/loader/round being loaded. Then it just slides out of the way. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

With the HKS (from the video) it looks like you must remove the loader after partially loading a round in to the magazine; then finish seating the round once the loader is out of the way. I found this to be annoying when trying to load the last round into new/tight Glock mags with the OEM Glock loader. Do you run into this issue w/ the HKS?

Yeah I have to lift the lever off of the preceding round to fully seat the new round, however the feel of loading the 10th round is almost exactly the same as the first - the thumb lever provides ample, well, leverage.

Also, presumably with practice I will get much more smooth. This video was taken on my second run through.

I looked a little more into the glock oem loader - looks like their magazine springs may be too tight? The video I watched looked like it was more difficult to use than the HKS.

When I bought my first Glock BNIB, the dealer said that Glock included a cheapo-mag loader because of the stiff springs.
