    You know it's bad when

You ask a police officer if he's carrying a glock 22. And he responds - "no, it's a glock 40."

    And i go - "it's a glock 22 tho, no?"

    He responds sternly - "no, it's a glock 40."

I normally dont condone the use of the facepalm smiley. But this warrants a big one.
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

You should have said "I'm referring to the model number, not the round it shoots." After you said that then he may have understood. Not everyone knows model numbers. I think he should know since he carries it, but whatever.

So did you then say that a Glock 22 is a .40 caliber handgun and there is no Glock 40 or did you just let him sit there thinking you were an idiot. You might as well educate the less educated, especially if they are a LEO.....

Isn't the "22" on the slide a lot bigger than the .40?

Haha it was in the bathroom and he had it on the sink counter. And i made the comment in passing and i wasnt about to try and be the high and mighty and correct the guy. If he carries it he should know what it is.

And i asked because i was curious as to what caliber they carry here. (kansas city, kansas. Family reuinion.) a glock is a glock is a glock unil you try and load a .45 into a glock 17. No?

I can accept people not knowing their specific gun model as long as they're pro 2A.

Just like I can accept idiots who spread BS w/ their big mouths as long as they don't trample 1A.
