I have a p85 MKII. I love the gun. Sure there are some others out there that are better in quality but I can shred the center of a target at 25 yards with the ruger( being a retired marine helps I guess). I m used to it and its easy to shoot very little recoil. I would of liked a heavier round than the 9mm but its fine. I also have a 44 mag that I use when i go hunting as a back up ( wild boar). the 9mm I leave at home for my wife and I load it with hollow point magtec rounds. She wont use a shotgun ( way too much kick with 3 inch magnum loads.
I got the ruger for 275$ about7-8 years ago. it has been a very reliable semi auot. I never had a jam or anything bad. The grip could be bigger cause I have big hands.
