LC9 Owners - Question

Take it from a d*ck. You are better off with a smaller version of a gun you are comfortable with then a brand new system.

That is why I sold my LC9. I am getting a g26 to be consistent with the G19 that I have gotten really used to and proficient with.

That's exactly my point. I've got the same two pistols you've got. They both operate the same way which equals positive habit transfer.

I've got a G19 and I pick up the G26 on Friday. In the meantime, I'll carry my SP101 and sell the LC9.

Mine is getting easier the more I shoot it. It is one tough puppy when new like you say. I also have the Galloway trigger mod in mine, totally changed the pistol in a positive way.

I prefer the "slingshot" method.



You'll see that although he fumbles a bit getting the mag seated, once he did get it fully seated, the reload was still pretty freaking fast.

I just like doing it that way because it feels more natural for me.
I think people should do whatever works for them though.

why have a larger and smaller pistol? G26 does both!

Also, you should never rely on that slide lock (or release) to send slide forward especially in a defensive situation. If a malfunction of some sort occurs in a semi auto the first thing you do is rack the slide and try to drop a bad round before releasing it. Since clearing malfunctions start with grabbing slide it's better in end to always hold slide with hand in practice so you aren't changing controls suddenly when something
bad happens.
