i first tried to parkerize it but the cylinder side plate barrel and frame all came out slightly different because they are different peices.
So we ended up doing the spray and bake on cerakote.

Looks good to me, has Combat Magnum all over it.

Both original grips are like new, no papers or box.

Got mine in 84 for around $300 six inch no - and I've not had the fire pin bushing done to it. It's a great gun, I remember buying it because I could't find a model 19 at the time.

The 586 is a great gun, but I prefer my Model 66 in 4". Felt better in my hands and got me thru two gunfights as my duty weapon. I will never sell it
