    Talk about an impulse buy

I wa out and about and decided to pop into one of Fresno's many gun shops and somehow I walked out the new owner of an EMP 9mm. In 10 days it will be home. I feel a little stupid. I never had buyers remorse but there are so many other guns in my "want" list and most are cheaper. I've wanted a compact 1911 for a while but I have a strong feeling I'm going to be regretting this purchase for a while. Why do we do this stuff? I've read nothing but good things and I am sure I'll love this thing but wtf?!? Just had to rant.

just this 1 thread alone people are posting that they have sent theres back in. I always read problems feeding Hollow points, and a bunch of FTF of FTE problems, it seems like everyone that owns one always sends it in, theres someone on this forum that has a emp that they love but i read they also sent it in as it would not feed reliable.

im getting my ccw and decided just to get a glock 26

Purchased a new EMP about 2 months ago. Have about 400rds thru it so far. I'm having trouble getting it to feed premium HP ammo.:bawling: The rounds seem to nose jam on the barrel ramp. If I pull back the slide back and let it slam home it usually chambers the round. Not always tho. I have 8...

I liked my glock 19 just fine for CCW carry but it's an all metal 1911. 3 inch barrel. That's what my stupid brain kept telling me in the shop. Then my credit card jumped out of my wallet.

Dang. Well if I have any issues it will be heading back. I've got 3 ccw guns and this won't go into rotation until I get a good 500 rounds through it anyways. Hell I may end up selling or trading it for another uspsa gun. Or rifle. Or shotgun. Or...god guns are a sickness.

                        Shoot it, enjoy it, congrats.

Worst case, if you end up not liking it after an outing, you can easily sell it on here for close to what you paid for it.... depending on your location of course.

                          You'll love the EMP.

I went to a local range hoping to rent a full-size 1911 in 9mm, but all they had was the EMP so I decided to check it out. I instantly fell in love with it. It's one of the top one or two handguns on my list now.

It will probably be up for sale some day. I don't know. I'm not usually an impulse buyer but I put the damn thing in my hand and pie there I was signing a dros. I have plenty of carry guns and have many more "needs" than this thing. I am kicking myself a little bit because I am eyeing a few guns and now I'm locked up for 30 days. It's not even the $ it's the lack of prioritizing. I know it's great and I'll love it.
