Would you trade?

I have a cz sp-01 and was thinking of trading for xdm 9 5.25, any thoughts,

The SP01 is a great gun, but I too have considered this for USPSA production. I have done some upgrades to my SP01 and have shot about 10 matches with it. Instead of getting a XDM 5.25, I ended up getting a Glock 34 and am more accurate with it stock than I am with the CZ, so I started shooting matches with it. I may sell my CZ now.

To help you make your decision, what is the purpose? Are you shooting matches or just going to the range? Have you looked into the price of mags? They are as bad as CZ prices, and have to be pinned/modified to run 10 rounds. XDm must be SSE'd. Locally for me that would run over $900 otd. Do you own any other XD's? I like the platform, but now am changing over to Glock.

What on earth, did you eat this morning to think such a thing???

If you just don't want the CZ SP-01 for whatever reason, just sell it off. But to trade it in for an XDM is just plain not right.

This. Why on earth did you get te CZ then? Blasphemy I tell you. Yeah CZ>XDM any day, it's smaller, louder and has more recoil to it.

I have an XD...wanna trade? As a fellow Calgunner-No..Hold onto your CZ. XD's are very nice, and Im sure with tax time or everyone doing layaways you can get one in the future. If you have to ask, you are going to regret it.

God no. I've been thinking about picking up the 5.25 XDm in .40 for a limited gun, but not a chance I would trade my sp01 tactical for it. The values just don't match up, the XDm's are all over in free states, the CZs are still hard to find.

Haha thanks guys, I'll keep it and when the Monday comes around I'll guy one well after my wife gets a gun, she wants a stainless steel 1911 in 9mm so yeah, I'll be broke for a couple years

For HD/SD tactical keep the CZ, if you want to shoot comps trade for the XDm 5.25

Unless you want a polymer tectikool pistol instead of full steel tectikool. I would go with a no. XDm is much easy to detail strip/clean and in my opinion, has a better trigger (SA striker vs DA/SA trigger).
