I thin Grays Guns does a 10mm conversion on P220's.

Thats great news. I hope the timeline is true, it would make it to the top of my purchase list for the year.

          Give it a chance

The DAO trigger was much like the DAO trigger on a Para Ord's LDA. Real light and smooth.

Our Sig rep advised that they will know more after the SHOT show.

Give it a chance. It was really cool!!

YAY!!! I really want one of these, I'll probably sell my P226 to get one, and I'll boost the economy with my free money by buying another one (for the S.O.) Again, YAY!!!

I wonder if they'll have it available in other calibers by the CA release date... (or at least have other caliber conversions <cough> .45ACP </cough> readily available by then)

Randy, the SIG VP, said all other calibers were being worked on at the same time. Don't know if any of them will be ready by the time CA approves the P250, but we can hope.

John Re, Sig Customer Assistance, said:

THE P250 WAS MADE IN GERMANY WHICH IS WHY IT CURRENTLY IS NOT ON THE CA COMPLIANCY LIST. THE GUNS NEED TO BE REENGINEERED WHICH TAKES TIME. IT WILL BE A WHILE BEFORE YOU MAY SEE IT CA COMPLIANT. THE CURRENT PRODUCTION OF 250'S ARE COMPACT 9MM, THE FULL SIZE AND SUBCOMPACT WON'T BE OUT UNTIL LATER THIS YEAR. THE OTHER CALIBERS AND SIZES WILL BE OUT LATER THIS YEAR.
I count several things wrong about that, but it doesn't dispute that Sig is working on a CA-compliant copy.

I wish they would come out with DA/SA. I just saw the little video and it is little not as esthetically pleasing as other Sigs, it is innovative; I still prefer DA/SA, though.

With these modular pistols, somebody should come up with a way to make a "lower" that has the magazine safety in it. That way, once it gets DROSed here you can put in a real lower.
