cnc'd 80% 2011 frames

hey guys, so here is my new thread, i know its a few months late, and im sorry for that.

so, i finished all of my personal projects, so now im moving onto the 80% stuff, finally! here is a rendering of what im making right now...


...this is a commander frame with full length dustcover, non-railed, with a 4.25" slide.

now, in real life, this is what the first batch looked like this morning, after i finished the initial roughing:
and, what they look like now, semi finished... its amazing how quickly things can start to take shape:
notice i am only machining the grip hole on this side, and no slide rails...

so, i will make a batch of railed frames after this, but for now...
update in a few hours!

nice are you planning to sell 80% ?

have you gotten approval from BATFE on your "non-firearms" yet ?
you do have to get the "letter" from BATFE before you start selling to avoid possible unlawful firearms manufacturing and sales

do you have a price piont in mind for these ?

i got really tired last night, sorry if i left anybody hanging on an update, but here goes a mini update:

its kind of hard to see, but all of the 3d (curved) surfaces are done, and its time to flip these things over to rough out the other side. that will take a while, there is a lot of material i have to remove, but hopefully i will get more pics up today.
