Sigarms Mauser M2

Yo fellow gunners! So a real nice old timer gifted me a sigarms mauser m2 in .40 S&W. now, I know all the history as I researched it as soon as the transaction was over. (I work at an FFL) anybody own one? have any opinions? I haven't been able to find many range reports. thanks for your time fellas!

no pics yet. still in jail. I spent about an hour with him one afternoon here in my store helping him pick out a new revolver. He said his automatic was too difficult to mange with his old hands. When he returned for his pickup he brought his semi auto pistol with him. I though he wanted me to broker the weapon for him, but he thanked me kindly for my help and said "I'd like you to have it" Absolutely blew my mind. I didn't know people were still that nice

Nice shooting pistol with an ackwardly placed safety. The grip is also a little long at the base, but otherwise a nice gun.
