    AR Pistol question

I have a 9mm AR setup, my question is under the law can I have a 223 pistol upper setup for the lower as well? 2 pistol uppers for the same lower. Or do I under the law have to have a lower for each pistol upper?

Is the 9mm upper a pistol upper?

If you have 2 pistol uppers and a pistol lower you should be good, as far as my understanding of the law.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

As long as you have at least one dros'd legal pistol lower, you may have as many pistol uppers as you like.

The problem is with pistol uppers And no pistol lower. That would create a constructive position.

Not from what I understand. If you own an AR rifle you need a pistol lower for every upper.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Um... No. Unless you can show me that in the law somewhere, I call

No. The lower is serialed, the upper is not. The only time the weapon "changes" (see: constructed) is when a rifle upper is put on a registered pistol lower, or the opposite. As long as the upper you're purchasing is the same type, you can switch them out all day long.

Sorry on my phone and I cannot edit.

Read about it in the 2nd Amendment section.

As long as you have 1 pistol lower, how can you run into a constructive possession issue? There is nothing on the books anywhere that says that you must have a pistol lower for every upper. Unless you can cite a specific penal code, you don't know what you are talking about, and are just spreading FUD. Either post a link or the code.

If you have a pistol lower attached to a pistol upper... then another pistol upper laying around along with a complete rifle lower without a rifle upper, I'd be looking for black helicopters.
