Ok so I went to my range and they had the 2 choices for my next gun purchase:
A USED CZ 75b SA in .40 ooooor a New sig saur p2022 in .40.
Now first of I know there will be a huge weight difference. Second the sig is new and is priced at 465 and the Cz 75b is 400. Now I OWN a CZ 75 p-01 in 9mm. I have not shot either specific gun in question, but I'd like to shoot ten really before I buy.

I don't think this will be of that much help, that being said, here goes:

You already have the P01, as do I. I've getting close to 5k rounds without a single problem. I've been using Freedom, BulletMan, and the unobtainium Jack Ross reloads along with just about everything else. I'm not sure a sig would be anymore reliable. In fact, I was so impressed, that after I bought the P01 in February, It's now June and the P01 now has relatives in the safe. A Rami 9mm, and as of this week, a SP01 Tactical. I can say the Rami has eaten at least 1k rounds of the same diet as the P01 has without a hitch.

I would think, if the CZ 75B SA in .40 works for you, then get it, as CZ's are not as easy to find right now. If the trigger/action is not up to your liking, drop in one of the CGW kits (Cajun Gun Works), and you'll have a superb piece.

It's also my guess the p2022 are more common.

The SA. I like Sigs but not the 2022. It doesn't feel as good as the CZ, doesn't shoot as well, the trigger isn't as good, the reliability isn't as good...

My thoughts exactly. Pretty much what I did. Was lookin for a SC 40, But when I was at the gun store, I saw and fell in love with my newly acquired SP01...

I'd have to go CZ too. They just feel so damn good in the hand and are super reliable. The 2022 is the poor mans sig and it shows. Sig makes a great pistol but the 2022 is bottom of the barrel IMO. CZ is a better gun in that price range.

I had a sp2022 and loved it, I actually will be getting another one soon, however, look in the classifieds here. Tell me how many CZ's you see versus Sig Pros over the last 3 months....

That is the case I am making, not discounting the sig at all, I loved mine and the only reason I got rid of it was because I sold it to my brother so I still get to shoot it.
