The glock didn't fail me

So I have been in the process of obtaining my LTC and have tried several guns in the process. I guess I didn't fully understand what "Carrying" actually meant. I found a gun I loved, then sold it to my best friend for a great deal and payments... So the hunt was back on I eventually stumbled to Glock. Now the typical glock issues people complain about really don't bug me.

After much research I decided on the Glock 36, well after 10 days of waiting I picked it up yesterday and decided to qualify for a permit modification the same day... I took it outta the box slammed in some ammo and walked over to the range and BAM qualifed like a champ... not one issue... and this is BRAND new outta the box... All gummed up from shipping and everything. needless to say i'm a happy man and I think... dare I say it... becoming a glock guy

hahaha yea, I didn't have my knife on me to cut the nylon tag off it so it was blowing in the breeze.. the rangemaster was laughing

I never gave glock a chance before this year, after Ive shot my friends 19,22,23,27,30,34,35 and was able to nail the target the first time I pick each one up, nice recoil. easy to completely disassemble. now I own a G35, G21sf, and next will be 17,23,27

Glad you got to try many different guns so now you can fully appreciate why i recommended a Glock from the start haha

Congrats. I don't love Glocks, but they're very utilitarian and work when you need them to.

I think I have gone through over 3000 rounds through my 19 and 26 and the worst malfunction I have had was it not locking back on empty a few times.

The 36 is a single stack .45. Not blocky at all. You'd also like their 9mm's also if you think they're blocky. The "Blockiness" doesn't seem to bother me too much

I own a Glock 21, 26, 30SF, and 17 RTF2.

Love each one. End up favoring the 30SF over the 26, the 26 is too small for me. 30's just perfect.

If i had a CCW i'd probably set aside my differences with the 26 for the sole fact that it's so small, but the 36 is best of both worlds. Just can't swallow the 6 round thing...

When I bought my G17 a few months ago, I took it from Turners straight to the range and put 150 rounds through it. It was flawless!

I've been told they are made to shoot with shipping grease to break it in. Not sure how true that is due to it seeming more like a Internet made up process with no real concrete ecedence of it being true but hey who knows.
