          LOL. Well, how about the fact that it's a pretty nice railed 1911 for not a lot of money; at least not by 1911 standards. A TRP rail is another $400.00-$500.00 more. I like the TRP as well, but some people can't afford one and the MC Operator and Colt Rail Gun are a couple of pretty nice railed 1911s at prices more people can afford.

            I think you mean no front strap checkring. They all have the front cocking serrations.

            The MC operator was my first 1911, and I've been very happy with it. The only thing I disliked was the grip and lack of a checkerd front strap. Those issues were resolved after a quick trip to the custom shop.

              Congrats man. Sweet gun. I love Springers. Got my first 1911 which happened to be a Half Rail TRP... now I'm hooked! I love Springer's customer service too. Make sure to get is a range report asap.
