    Introducing my Hi-Power

After a few weeks of planning and getting parts..here she is..I told my builder..( Dave lake @ Sierra Arms..Modesto,ca )i wanted to be able to hit coconuts at 25yds consistently.Mission Accomplished!!
..Its been medium gray parkerized and all controls gun coated in OD green
    New parts include:
    24/7 big dot XS sights
    VZ grips
    Cylinder & slide safety
Cylinder & slide wide combat trigger
    Cylinder & slide hammer
Cylinder & slide sear and other trigger parts
    KKM Precision Barrel
Trigger breaks very sweet at 3lb-12oz
I don't know what it will do for groups..probably better than i can shoot
but it did hit and break 6 coconuts with 6 shots at 25 yds..Not only does it look badass but shoots great too!!
Special thanks to "larryh1108" over at Browning Hi Power Owners Forum for the Slide!!
She started out looking like this:

Looked better untouched, but that's just my 2 cents.

    To each his own though.

Nope. Others think like you too.

But, it doesn't matter if we like it as long as you.

Enjoy her for a long time.
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

          Looks good! Digging the OD!

I'm thinking of going with two tone OD on my FM Argentine HP. (Frame green, Slide black, Parts black)

Do you still have the stock ambidextrous safety parts? I have been looking to replace my tiny factory one. Let me know if you want to get rid of it.

Looks good. I am partial to the original slide though also. Did you scrap it or trade it off?

What I like the most are the accuracy enhancements. Very happy to hear that it's possible to tune High Powers this way. Great gun, great project!

Probably the prettiest guns ever made.

I have no idea why VZ grips are popular. Striped plastic, and they look it. I have come across two sets via gun buys and traded them for mags. I betta off.

I agree, VZ's usually dont look good to me. However, the set on this hipower look good. they look almost "woody" to me.

Almost woody ain't woody. I still don't get it, EVER, and my eyes aren't that good.
