You are going to have to order that through a gun store, the way I understood it is that all parts have to have mommy’s notes to obtain- you know because ca says guns and parts bad.

I spoke to a gs employee and by their understanding, a customer has to order ( through the lgs) “ parts “ and then the lgs would make that person fill out ( whatever ) forms, then the lgs would order the customers parts, and then the customer would have to come back to the store to pick up thier safely ordered ca parts.

Sounds like the carrier is going to need a signature and confirm identity to receive the parts that you order. The crpa has a video regarding this law on YouTube

You understand it wrong.
The ONLY parts that are FFL required are firearms and barrels.
All other parts can still be shipped directly as long as you fill out a form stating that you will not use them to construct an illegal firearm and you have to give your ID to the seller and the delivery driver when the package delivers.
Many places simply are not selling to CA at the moment as they have not worked out the online affidavit and ID collection/storage details.
Give it time.
It will work itself out.
