No, I got this from GB and SSE'ed it. Worth every penny. Now just one model A and 1 cadet coonan to go!

The Coonan was made long before CA ever had a "safe gun roster" - so they were sold here without restriction. That makes it possible that it could be a PPT.

Coonan is now back in business making FAL receivers and the Coonan .357. When I talked to them (recently) they said they had no intention of making a "CA-legal" version, so it's entirely possible that it is one of the new ones that has been "SSE'd".

I don't own a Coonan yet, so I couldn't tell you by looking at the photo if it's a new one or the original models.

How many magazines did you get? When I had mine Coonan mags were anywhere from $125.00 to $200.00 each. I believe magazines for the new Coonan will fit your older model and are supposedly about $65.00 each.

I just got mine a few weeks ago. It comes with two mags and a .38 mainspring to use if you want to shoot. 38's. A very nice gun. A very smooth shooter.
