I think the idea is that those superheros don't give a crap about what they are using, those guns are just tools for them, their skills are elsewhere. Black Widow's skill at interrogation was her "super power". And boobs.
Captain America doesn't even use a gun (anymore) as he has that insane shield made of magic or whatever.
Every one else is basically indestructible anyway (except Hawkeye and Black Widow, who are mere humans)==================
