Stick with what you know and like. I don't care for Glocks but if you have one and like it, get another one.

        Obvious answer is obvious...

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

get a glock 34 factory barrel, it should swap over and use the glock 35 mag to load in the 9mm rounds.

Take a calculator and figure out how many rounds of 9mm at 20 cents a pop you have to shoot through a new $600 gun to save cash on shooting 45 at 30 cents a pop. I haven't done algebra in years so I will do it for you. If I did that right, X= 6,000. So you will have to shoot 6,000 9mm round before you break even. That is $1200 of ammo.... Are you even going to shoot that much before you die?

Just trying to throw some economics out there for you.

If you are planning to do a SSE, then go for the PPQ. I picked it over the Gen4 19, SR9 and the M&P9. I took it to the range with me last month and everyone who shot it said it took striker fire polymer handgun to another level. This came from a few hardcore 1911 and Glock guys.

As others have mentioned, I'd go with a Glock 34 or a conversion barrel. Super easy gun to shoot, feels like a .22, lol.

Your SW40 mags would work perfect in the XD9
