    Someone really needs to make...

a design similar to the Ruger 10/22 only make it as easy to clean as a Glock. That would be the ultimate range gun. Take it out, shoot the hell out of it, go home and clean it easily. Anything like that out there?

I do believe that the Browning Buckmarks are supposed to be easy to disassemble.

Yep. Two screws to remove the sight base from the slide and barrel, one Allen screw to remove the Barrel. Pretty simple.

Well, they are easy to dismantle except for the darn screw you have to turn so many times to remove the barrel. It would be nice to have a pistol disassemble with a simple removal of the slide leaving the barrel in place and an access from the rear using a straight rod. The Buckmark has a post that retains the rear screw for the slide cover preventing cleaning with a rod while barrel is mounted. It should be an easy design to have a pistol easy to disassemble. I never owned a Ruger 22 pistol, I have no opinion of it except for it is accurate and durable. My uncle has one.

When I swapped barrels on my Buckmark just before Christmas it was a 3 minute operation, even with the barrel screw torqued to 9 bazillion pounds at the factory . It's no biggie with my long T Handle Allen driver that clears the barrel.

Wain, AK is your answer if you're looking for a rifle since you used a 10/22 for comparison. Since you also reference to a Glock, that's also your answer right there.

Sticking to handguns, consider getting a .22 conversion upper for your glock.

I don't have this setup, but I am dissatisfied with the take down method on my buckmark, using two different-sized allen wrenches to loosen the barrel and rear sight, etc. From what I've read, inelegant takedown methods for .22 pistol seems to be commonplace.

A glock and with the advantage arms .22 conversion looks like it may be an elegant solution. If it works, it will be worth the money.

I twisted by craftsman 7/64" allen key trying to remove the barrel.

The S&W Model 41 is the ultimate .22lr sidearm (IMO) and is a piece of cake to break down, clean, and assemble.

Any of the High Standard .22 pistols are easy to disassemble.

Push the lever under the barrel, pull off the barrel, slide off the slide.
