I'm going the Platypus route myself. Patriot CNC or Vulcan Machine for the porting.

        It's on the to-do list

The Jacob Grey TWC 9 looks good for the price.

Love my Staccato and Atlas but as many have said before The Atlas is where it's at.

I want a carry gun though so $7,000 is a bit spendy.

BBQ or Competition gun then yeah for sure

Maybe I'm dense. I've played with a staccato and yes, it was very nice, but for me not $4000+ nice. For me a tweeked cz 75 or a nice sig does the job without the expense.

California, the once-great first world state that is now a corrupt third world socialist cesspool.

They are $2500 guns so they are definitely not $4000 nice.

I could pay $2800 - $3000 for one depending on what comes with it but anything behind that I'm just setting myself up to fail because the gun will never live up to the price I paid for. In general, I'm ok with paying 10% to 15% more in California because we pay more for just about everything else in life compared to a free state but there's definitely a limit. The state of the market place is reflecting the the same thing. The demand for off roster pistols have dropped significantly now that we have more choices.

As for the price, I'm going by what the owner said he paid for it. And no, I don't know what model it was or if he paid a fair or inflated amount, or how long he's had it.
