They are super accurate at distance though

P365XL chopped macro. Circle only reticule

2 consecutive rounds at 25 yards. Missed 3rd slightly high right

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I went with the Vortex Defender CCW on my P365 and Hellcat Pro.

Vortex is a good dot. I have broken two but they replaced cause vortex cs is great.

The vortex refresh rate is slow enough to bother me when shooting fast

Any micro gun is good for "in the belly" shots, but shooting one that's also good at distances greater than 10 yards is key to have.

I can shoot my P365 pretty fast & accurately at 10 yards with the factory night sights, but with a RDS it's just as fast & accurate. At 25 yards (length of the indoor range I practice at), I can really see the difference with time & accuracy. Sure most people can shoot accurately with a micro pistol and irons at 25 yards or longer, but you're going to take more time than using a RDS. Different strokes for different folks.

Either way, practice & train with what you want to use and make sure you're proficient with it.

It's been 100% reliable , this is my first experience with Holosun, my other RDS's have been Sig or Trijicon.
I've been shooting RDS for a long time via my modded CZ SP01, and was wondering about a Holsun for my EDC P365, with regards to weight and it's working with the stock night sights?

Do you use the stock RSA?

Also, can you still use the factory night sights, or does the RDS become the rear sight, and if so where is the POI with the RDS as the rear sight?

                  Thx...

Stock spring will be fine. Depending on your slide type rears are removed *my preference* or irons can be used as lower 1/4 cowitness

Great, thanks! Mine's a newer P365 CA version, so the irons stay and bottom 1/4 sounds perfect for me.

Pm if you need a dot

The rear fins on the dot will almost line up perfectly with your rear irons
