    rock river arms poly 1911

Has anybody seen these? I noticed them in the catalog , thoughts , opinions on a polymer 1911. I imagine we use polymer for every other make and model pistol out there, but any reason why it wouldnt be a good pistol compared to traditional ones? Plus being polymer they come in different frame colors for those who like that. thanks for opinions?

I'm not a big poly fan but I want one too.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I honestly think a polymer 1911 would be awesome, but I'm not your typical neophobe 1911 purist.

What was the name of that Israeli company that had a 1911 inspired polymer gun out a couple years ago ?, never really caught on.

Rock River has a poly 1911 in the works as well. Would not be suprised to find out these are made by Armscor for RRA.

Rock River Arms, Inc. offers a complete line of American made, custom built AR15 style rifles.

Interesting... I consider myself a 1911 Fan but I'm also in the market for a Poly. Best of both worlds?

The only benefit is the weight, and the reduction is marginal at best.
