    "safe gun roster question"

    I was looking @ the DOJ roster for handguns and I saw that the Rock Island Armory CS 1911 is on there. I noticed another 5" had GI and tactical models listed. I was hoping that the CS tactical was legal here. Any idea?

    Yes it's legal.

    No it's not on the roster.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

      So I can't buy it new in CA? Must be a PPT or an inter-familial transfer?

        Or Single Shot Exempt.

        Read the sticky @ the top of this section. The 1911 is by far the easiest to SSE.
