I've only sent my CZ's in to CZ Customs for service. Great folks, great work.

But I bought a kadet rimfire kit for it, and it would not fire any round that was "auto-loaded" by the action. First round in the mag that was hand loaded by racking the slide would fire every time, but the next round would not. I noticed that if I put my left thumb on the back of the slide and pushed forward, then manually cocked the hammer, the round would fire.

Tried three different brands of ammo, CCI mini-mags, Wolf, and Winchester, and none would fire.

Sometimes I could feel a faint "click" with my thumb when I pushed the slide. I think the firing pin was getting hung up in it's channel in the slide. I cleaned it out with a cotton swab, but still no joy. CZ couldn't offer me a home remedy, and said "send it in with the kadet slide installed".

        Now I'm waiting 2+ weeks???
Talk about a test of patience....I just got this pistol back today-one month and five days since I dropped it off at fedex.

Work order says they tuned the extractor and the ejector-that might explain the faint "click" I could feel when pushing on the back of the slide. Interestingly, it also says they tested it with winchester bulk-"no issues". I wonder which one.

I sure hope they got it right. I don't want to wait another month + for a second go round. They must be really swamped, or I didn't squeak enough to get the grease.

          9000+ rounds = 3 slide stops on my 75B.
22LR kit firing pin assembly = 1 set

I always received these free replacement parts from Mike Eagleshield on time before the next match.

          Lesson learned...Two CZs.

Pretty standard from what I have experienced. I've sent two guns to two different, large companies and they both took 3-5 weeks to get back to me. They both set that expectation for me in the beginning, so I was not angry. If I wanted it done immediately I always had the option of going to a local gunsmith and paying for it. Both of these companies picked up my shipping in each direction and did a good job.

Have not dealt with CZ USA yet. So far my pistols have been made well enough that I don't think I'll ever have to deal with them for a warranty claim

Got my pistol back today and I must say, I'm pretty disappointed. Slide was blued and the scratches were fixed but now I have scratches on my rear sight where they reinstalled it and my front sight is still chipped and there seems to be what looks like a brownish almost rusty look next to the extractor where they didn't do a good job of blueing so it looks like the polycoat was peeled like half an inch and filled with a black marker. I'm just upset that my gun was with them for over a month and a half and this is how it came back. There are so many good reviews for them that I was expecting a flawless gun but instead I feel like it was half assed. Busy or not I was really hoping that because they had it for so long that they were doing it right and not rushing. Not sure how I feel about sending my gun back to them after having this happen should something go wrong. Now I'm just going to have a local gunsmith cerakote my cz and hope that solves my problems.

I might have to depending on how my gun turns out after the cerakote. Or I might just get fiber optics.

I don't have an experience where I had to send a firearm in. I purchased a used 97b a month ago after months of looking for a new one. First time out to the range with it I had problems and found a broken barrel bushing. I emailed CZ about it on a Monday. Got a reply the next day saying they had seen my situation a couple of times and probably just needed a new barrel bushing.($35 part advertised on their site). There was a new one in my mail box by Friday, no charge. Haven't been back out to test it but free parts for a used gun and no questions asked in a short time is A OK in my book.

So I called today and was told told that it will be another 2-4 weeks before I should get my gun back. I was wondering if this is normal? I'm pretty sure they are probably busy but it would have been nice to know that they received it and that it would be a while before I get it back. What do you guys or gals think?
CZ is definitely no Springfield Armory when it comes to CS.

Yes they shoot nice, but my P-01 had ghetto third world finish work on everything inside the gun. It looks like their repair work is equally as nice. There is a reason that the 75b has a MSRP of $499. Kinda like the time I was looking at a freshly unboxed SP-01 at turners, and the inside components had rust.
