    How come no one has mentioned saving money and upgrading through a smith like Dan Burwell. My trigger is utterly amazing. Its as good as it can get for a plastic gun.

      Because, it will never be as good as a "quality" 1911 trigger.

      If you can't do it yourself.... Then why do it?

        Because cutting through the case hardening into the soft factory MIM sear is a bad idea for reliability and not everyone wants to carry a trigger that light.
