How does this guy shoot so fast?

I was thinking he deleted a frame or two here and there but that does not explain how close his brass is.

I am thinking he has a modified gun somehow and very light loads since the brass seems to just about drop out of the gun. When I shoot my 1911s the brass goes flying, even on my operator.

The recoil looks like it is practicaly nonexistent.

It's not that hard to shoot that fast, and it doesn't look like he is going for accuracy.

        He's using a 124 grain bullet, probably a 9 mm 1911 or possibly a .38 super.

he's just tuned his gun to those light loads. He's shooting 125~ rounds.

Also, in relation to the objective of his video, I've given up on cast lead rounds (home made or otherwise), and now shoot moly coated lead, they cost only slightly more, but essentialy have the same amount of smoke of jacketed rounds.

It's the LEAD, not the lube.

Lead is nearly impossible to shoot indoors.

I think he shoots fast the same way the paintball guys do - light trigger, and use the recoil motion of the pistol itself to bounce his finger off the trigger.

He isn't shooting for accuracy, he's just slapping the trigger to show the effect of the various loads. The speed at which you can shoot is only limited by the speed at which the action can cycle

His springs are properly balanced for his load...his cases are ejecting correctly.

The recoil looks like it is practicaly nonexistent.
It's a combination of correct technique and the frame rate that the clip was shot at

in the comments he said he was not shooting for accuracy, just trying to make smoke come out for comparison.

                  now this is fast lol

Without a shot timer to record split times, you really don't know how fast is fast. I'm not saying that it's not fast enough, but without the split time data, there is nothing to compare it to. And he is just ripping rounds off, it's different when you record the hits on a target.

Oh really? That is bump firing? I didn't know you could bump fire a pistol without a device or a Glockstick. It is a single action 1911, guess that would be the easiest to do that with?

You can bump fire any semi-auto gun. It is just a matter of balancing the recoil with how tightly/loosly you hold the gun while still holding it tight enough that it continues to chamber a round.
