SSE AR PISTOLS

Ok so this kind of just dawned on me sorry if this has been discussed already.
Ar pistols use the sse to be sold in ca. Meow as with other off roster pistols going through the sse route i am able to legally modify the firearm to have a mag drop freely and use standard mags. Meow if one purchases an ar pistol they are doing so through sse so my question is that meow that the purchaser takes possesion of the pistol is one able to then put a standard mag release and use any legally owned standard capcity magazines or is this not kosher since the mag is located outside the pistol grip??? (3)

Ok lets try again as this is not a rifle im tryin to see how and where the flow chart is applicable. Is running an ar pistol featureless a way to go or because its a technically a pistol are u limited to only a bullet button. Per the flow chart ur screwed right off the bat because its an sbr but we are not talking about an sbr. So please somome wiser than me ellaborate.

There is no featureless AR pistol because no matter what, having a mag well outside the pistol grip IS an evil feature that cannot be changed.
