a 9mm revolver will probably be a good choice too, if you want ultimate accuracy.
Most combat 9mm can do 2-4 inch at 25 yrds. It's better than I can see at 25 yrds, but those with better eyes and better hands can benefit from more accurate pistols. I personally will be wasting anything more accurate than 3 inches at 25 yrds

Of the two you mentioned, the 210.

I hadn't heard about problems with the X-5, but still want one ALMOST as bad as I want the 210

Of course there's the semi-custom or custom 9mm 1911, but let's face it, that's boooooring

And the 9mm revolver sounds fun!
Then another horse PONY came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a huge sword. My kinda guy.

My Sig P250 is scary accurate- blows me away that even though it's DAO and has a long trigger pull I always get bullseyes.

Finding mags for the P210 is like looking for buried treasure. Getting 952 mags isn't a problem. I think owning a 952 will give me less of a headache when it comes to Now I gotta decide on whether I should get the 5 inch or 6 inch.

Any thoughts or experiences with these two. Some might recommend the Sig X-Five but I hear they may have extraction issues with the 9mm models.
why not look at a cz tactical sport they are more accurate than you are, like most any gun, and they are "different" because you wont see them as often as other guns in the same category. seems like you might have a sig bias.

Vote for CZ tactical sport. Super accurate. Replace the thicker wood grips with the aluminum grips and you'll be fine. Damn gun basically shoots itself!

I already posted about the CZ Tactical Sport. The grip is too large for me. I am unable to get a proper grip.

Get a Springfield or Kimber 1911 in 9mm shoot about 250 rounds of ball ammo through it. Start gauging the accuracy potential during the 250 break in period, and analyze if it needs a trigger job. If the accuracy is to your standards then a trigger job will more than likely improve your shooting for tighter groups. If accuracy is not at parr send it to an accomplished gunsmith that specializes in 1911s and have a match barrel and bushing hard fit for accuracy.

The Sig P210 Legend is my favorite gun to shoot. It lives up to it's reputation as being one of the most accurate guns out there. When I first got my P210 Legend I liked it so much I immediately put in an order for the target version. After nearly a year wait I now have my Legend Target. The P210 Legend (non-target) was sold to a lucky calgunner.

My original P210 Legend (now sold):

My new P210 Legend Target. I love it

If you have a way to bring one in I highly recommend it. SSE is somewhat problematic, interfamiliar transfer or LEO exemption would be an easier route.

That is not to say that the 952 isn't an awesome firearm but it doesn't have the mystic that the p210 does. Now, if it was a S&W 52 that would be a different story.
