    Accurate 9mm

I'm lookingfor an accurate 9mm. I'm looking for something different. After a lot of searching, it came down to these two, S&W 952-2 or Sig P210 Legend Target. Any thoughts or experiences with these two. Some might recommend the Sig X-Five but I hear they may have extraction issues with the 9mm models.

CZ's are the most accurate out of the box pistols I have ever shot. Might want to look into one of them.

Too bad my range doesn't rent the SIG P210 Target: I'd love to test drive one. From what I've read, it sounds like a very nice piece. Obviously you're not overly concerned with price....

G19 I know that was not a choice. Beretta 92 FS another accurate choice.

Both guns you have listed are great target guns and in the same price range. I have heard great things about both but if I was to choose one I would go for the p210 just because of the "cool" factor. That is not to say that the 952 isn't an awesome firearm but it doesn't have the mystic that the p210 does. Now, if it was a S&W 52 that would be a different story.

            Good luck

G19, 92FS, HK USP, really? Fine firearms but not near the level of the pieces the OP mentioned.

OP, those are 2 really nice choices. I'm with Ingram on the P210. It's known to be one of the most accurate handguns made. I do not however think its in the same price range as the S&W, I think its about 1k more at around $3000.

SIG actually just came out with a new P210 Super Target that's definitely different. It incorporates 1911 controls onto the P210 Legend platform.

Another accurate 9mm that comes to mind is one that I've been searching for. The CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Custom. Half the price of the P210 but I think it was just discontinued by CZ's Custom shop.

Anyways, my vote would be P210. But hey, I'm a SIG fan.

              Good luck with your search!

Thousands of rounds through my Sig X5 Comp, not a single extraction issue. More accuracy than you'll know what to do with.

Would very much like to buy a 952-2 or P210 to go with the X5 someday. Maybe both.

I believe these young chaps got combat accurate and target accurate mixed up. That being said... P210 gets my vote. Whatever your decision, remember the pictures

I'm sure you're already aware but the 952-2 is on the roster whereas the P210 is not. I don't know if anyone is SSE P210's so it's either PPT or family transfer to get one in the state; not necessarily the easiest gun to get a hold of. I have seen a few P210's for sale on the sale board recently that looked good but they're not the newer models.

The P210 is a nice gun but be aware everything about them is expensive and can be hard to get: tools, sights, magazines, replacement parts if you can get them. They're very robust such that you're not likely to need many replacements but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, a very accurate, well-made gun. The slide feels like it moves on greased/buttered ball-bearings, low recoil, and I personally love the ergonomics.

For the price you'd pay for a P210, you may want to look into something custom/accurized. While more plain-Jane, you could get a Beretta 92 and have it worked over by this guy http://www.samscustomgunworksusa.com...e/aboutus.html who does the AMU pistols. It will be costly but extremely accurate.

The new P210 with the adjustable sights retails for $2400 but might be able to get for $2000. I might be able to get the 952 for around $1700. From doing the research, they both seem on par when it comes to accuracy. I wont be able to hold any of the guns because it would have to be special ordered.

I'm just wondering how you'd get a newer model P210 here.

The P210 is more ergonomic to me than the 952.

I've played around with one, friend has it, and it has great balance and sights. Trigger is a touch heavy and a bit of grit but should smoooth out. Great ergonomics too and CA legal. Usually costs about $1,300.00.
