I would like to point out that this is an interesting issue. What if you can not get a CADL or CAID. Maybe you are military assigned here and your DL is from Alabama or ?. How would you buy a handgun?
On top of that, one of the arguments for not requiring an ID to vote is that getting an ID may be too expensive or even impossible for some people and you can't disenfranchise someone that way. Yet here we are realizing that you can infringe on their 2A right the same way.

if you have to cry over a fee that small, you shouldn't be buying a gun that in essence carries multiple fees of it's own just to buy.
