    Question about importation

I'm in the military and will be moving back to California in July and need to know if I can import my LCP. My understanding is that even though it's not on the list of approved handguns, since I purchased it while residing in another state I can still import it and have 60 days to register it once I get there. Is this true?

I'm not sure if this would affect it, but I was raised in Sacramento and maintain California residency for my taxes, drivers license, etc even though I haven't lived there for about 5 years.

    You are correct Sir.

    Thank you for your service.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

You can, but you can't bring back 10+ mags unless they are disassembled. This is the form to be sent in, with $19 per handgun:

Yes, you can bring it - and unless/until you separate here, you do not need to register any of your handguns; .mil is exempt from the Personal Handgun Importer stuff.

ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Thanks for the information. I didn't realize there was a wiki or I'd have checked there first. This is exactly what I needed to know.
