SA Loaded vs. Range Officer

I don't need it right away, so I don't mind putting a deposit down for one and waiting. I just figure a Loaded would easier to get from out of State, so it looks like a good alternative. But at the end of the day, I love everything aout the RO, minus the sights, and it seems that you guys have confirmed that for me too.

Ya except you'll need to be prepared to wait, I have had money down on a RO since November. I'm not sure they have seen a single one since before then.

I got one from them in October.. waited about 4 weeks for it

I just recently bought the Loaded, already put 450 rounds through it. So far I'm really happy with my purchase. Personally, I like the look of the front cocking serrations on the Loaded model.

Yup. Strictly a peronal thing but FCS are a deal breaker for me. It would take a pretty smokin' deal to get me to buy any 1911 that had 'em.

I ended up putting a deposit on an RO, it seems to be the perfect compromise between features and budget. Sounds like the wait will be a few months, but even with the SSE process it will be worth it.

Same here. Not meant on a 1911. I have a RO in jail as we speak

Get the RO. Nobody ever regretted spending the money on quality. Mine has ruined me on all other semi-autos. You can get fixed, combat style sights for the Bomar cut if you want, or just enjoy the fact that no matter what the range or ammo, you can get a perfect sight picture in 2 minutes. Plus it's just one of the best looking pistols around, in that low key, got it where it counts kind of way.
