Look at the price of a gun this way -- if you shoot a lot, the gun price is minor compared to the cost of ammo.

$899 is reasonable for a local gun shop.

Don't look back. The Sig 226 is an excellent and well proven pistol. As the old saying goes..."One never pays too much for a well made firearm, they sometimes just pay too early". Enjoy that 226 c good
