Cz P01 range love...

The dots on the sights are a little dark b/c they use a greenish glow in the dark paint.
If you hold a light to them for a while it'll glow brighter. I'm not sure how really useful they are like that, sort of a poor man's night sights I guess.

Otherwise a fine gun IMO as well.

Excuse me as a newbie, but just rented the P01 for the second time and loved the fit and feel of it. Too bad the trigger take up is so long, but for some reason, on the P01, I didn't mind it. Just felt like fun.

running range reloads:
7 yards: 20 rounds in 2.25 inches (decent hole)
10 yards: 20 rounds in 4 inches with a flyer (ugly)
15 yards: 10 rounds in 4 inches with a flyer (ugly)

Took possession of mine last Friday and have yet to shoot it, just looking for a good range to do so. This is my first firearm and I'm glad my friend recommended it. Thats an error... called them today and what they do have is a CZ85 compact which they say is the same thing as the p01 but slide is labeled cz85

I would love to get it but its not on DOJ roster.... darn it, the search continues I guess.

I love my Glock17, it has been the definition of reliability, BUT it is no where near as nice fitting or smooth as CZ's. I will never sell my G17 as it is my workhorse and first pistol but I think from now on I'm just buying CZ's. I have a PCR in jail now with a Kadet kit following. They will be my new range toys and the perfect Bug-out bag combo.

I tried the p01 and was very disapointed on how it felt in my hand. Never held a cz before. Sucks cause almost everyone agrees it feels perfect. Not to me. My full size hk Usp fits me so much better

the 85 is basically a 75 but with an ambi safety if I remember correctly.
