Anybody changed recoil springs in their LCP?

I'm looking to replace the springs in my LCP, and while looking online, Wolff sells a few different tensions. I'm thinking mine is losing tension, but don't want to buy the wrong tension. I like the difference the Wolff springs made on my 1922, but then again there weren't any options on tension either.

What makes you think that you need to switch it out? How many rounds do you have through it? IMO as long as it's still functioning correctly (I'm assuming it is) then I wouldn't change anything.

Last time I had it out it didn't seem to want to go all the way forward. I had to use my thumb and push the slide forward about a 1/16 of an inch or so, and it was jamming on me.

Not so the time before that.

I do know that it needs a good cleaning from being carried daily, but even adding oil to the slide at the range didn't seem to help.

Had similar problem with my 1922 until I changed the spring kit.

Mine did that when it was brand new. It was ammo related so I polished the feed ramp and it went away.

As for springs, I would get the factory ones. You have to order both separately.

I think 9 lbs is factory, you can try the heavier Wolf ones too.

Yes. I currently have 13lb Wolff springs in mine, and I used to have 12lb Wolff springs in it (anyone want them?)

IMO, no real difference between the 12 & 13 lb springs except that the slide is harder to pull back with the 13lb springs.... like a lot harder. The 12lb springs feel light and much closer to the stock 9 lb springs, and the 13lb springs feels a lot heavier than both.

Only reason why I bought the 12lb springs was because the 13's were on back order at the time, and I refused to shoot the gun with the stock 9lb springs (still unused)

Mine has these same issues. I replaced the springs with the stock Ruger springs and it didnt help.

            Good luck
