The Fed .45 is 33.77 + tax (36.72 OTD)

The WWB .45 is about $44 OTD.

Also there is quite a bit of .44 Magnum. Most of the above still available. As of 7:45am.

Most likely Q.C. issue being as it's a crimping problem at the projectile. Manufacturers have ramped up their production to meet demand, things like this happen when batches aren't tested.

Now for entertainment value alone I shall share my experience.

I went last night around 9pm after TM. WOW let me tell ya.
It was as busy as black friday, all the last minute back-to-schoolers were out. Lines extended out to the aisles. It was a mad house!

Went to do an exchange, cs was closed at 9. Got in at 9:04 - fail
Didn't have the Crayons I was in search of - fail
Didn't have the syrup the mrs was asking for - fail
I was surely going to redeem myself with a walk to the ammo shack - fail

All in all it was a fun time seeing the crazies out.
Shoulda swooped on some hotwheels and twinkies!
