i've had no issues with remington gold bullets in my AA glock conversion kits, tactical solutions 1911 conversion kit and cmmg dedicated upper for my ar-15.

Remington Golden Bullets are good to go for me. Runs perfectly out of my M&P22 pistol and that thing doesn't like Winchester, Federals, Blazers, etc. Was afraid I could only feed it minimags until I found the Remington Golden Bullets. Talking to another .22 enthusiast at Los Altos about this the other day and he told me from his experience they're not only the most reliable bulk ammo but also holds the tightest groups.

Between my two 22rifles, and my Advantage Arms 22LR Glock conversion, I have shot probably about 5K+ of golden bullets. Yes there were misfires, but not that much more than any other brand. Not that I have accurately counted each shot, but I guess I have had less than 1% no-fires. (I've had less than 50 no-fires in the 5K+ I have used.) I have complete faith in these bullets in firing.

As a matter of fact, the remingtons work SO much better with my 22LR glock conversion than CCIs.

With that said, I dont use 22s for HD anyways, but if I had to, I would not have any concern with it not firing.


Back on topic (sort of): I havent bought new ammo in a couple of months now, hence my lack of post in that time frame. This thread has always been both informative and entertaining.

good to hear...most of the negative stuff is from what I read and not actual personal experience. I just found it funny that I came across that "dirty harry" picture since some of the guys were talking about it this morning.

supposedly, the 225 packs that say "new and improved" are better quality and have less "duds". One of the guys this morning said that he had a bunch of failure to fires with the golden bullets and even took apart the casing to find no powder in it! hahaha

I guess that's why they printed "New and Improved" on the box. They remembered to put powder in them now lol. The ones I got are new stock from 3 months ago and I couldn't be more happy with them. I never tried the old stock so I don't know.

If the "new" stock only happened within the last couple of months, then the 5K that I have shot were all old stock.

Did any of the flights going into Milpitas Airport tomorrow get canceled? I am particularly interested in flight #223, it's supposed to come in at 9:45 am, but I heard it could be 22 minutes early. It's not a full flight, I guess only 40 passengers, but one guy weighs 308 lbs., so they assigned him 2 seats with extra LR (leg room).

If you know about this flight, let me know! LOL

Hey Val, thanks for the heaqds up, I wanted to check on the rate of a 9lb carry on,

I did check about 40 parcels into luggage claim on saturday, saw MC408 at the baggage claim was great meeting him,


there was a line of about 45 people waiting in the TSA for a pat down, last one I saw was heading into the line at about 7pm,
