Question on off list single shot pistol conversion!!!!!

Hi. I planning to get a off list pistol. And it will be semi convert single shot when doing tranfer and DROS. Here is my questions. Can i change it back to semi and/or with detachable magazine without using mag lock??? Thanks

Depends, will the mag well bre outside the pistol grip?

outside w/o mag lock would trigger AW status

Make sure it doesn't have any other pistol "assault weapon" features like a threaded barrel before you remove the mag lock.
